Jokes are indicative of our heart. If the punchline boils down to “I don’t want to be around my family” that’s pretty telling about where your heart is at.

It’s disgusting how present this is in pop culture anymore. All those stupid facebook couple’s sayings and “relatable mommy blogs” and crap. Stop it. You can’t disparage your husband or your wife or your children just because sometimes those negative feelings might be “relatable.” Just because you might feel those things sometimes doesn’t make it right or okay or justified. And neither should you revel in it. Correct your emotions. Work on your marriage and tend to your children. Set yourself straight. Don’t indulge in what is wrong. (And if you’re feeling those negative things all the time…. there’s something Big Wrong with you).

And y’all wonder why everyone is divorced and unstable.
